Rachel is a Certified Peer Specialist-Mental Health and has been in recovery for over 15 years. Originally born in Sacramento, California, she moved to Georgia in 1996 and developed a passion for helping others. After her diagnosis of bipolar and substance abuse disorder she began the journey into the certification process upon reading an article about Mental Health First Aide. She has since obtained many mental health related certifications. Rachel is now happy to call Middle Georgia her home and uses her lived experience to help others with their journey into recovery.
